I agree with all. We are a much better team than a year ago, but the real season starts now. The key is protecting our house, and winning road games we should (Iowa comes to mind). Defense is the key, and is what I like about this team. I am jazzed about MSU, it will be a great yard stick for this team.

If Tubby can't win with this group, he should be shown the door. Enough with the excuses. Williams is a senior. The NCAA gave him a gift to allow Mbakwe to come back as a sixth year senior. He has depth. He has talent. Just win baby.

This group has a chance to be very good. It will be tough for opponents to 'take away' anyone because everyone else can (and has) led the team in scoring and the team plays solid, consistent defense and rebounds well. But it's time to step up and realize your potential, guys. It all starts with MSU on Monday afternoon. The Barn will be a rockin'. Go Gophs!

I bet all the teams in the big 10 are at 90% plus wins/losses for the preseason. U think the gophs record will drop a bit during big 10 play? Wow, we might actually play some tough teams now? U think that will tell if we r good?

One area this team has that past tubby gopher teams have not had is a good bench. The next five guys can play and make things happen to help the team win, play solid defense, score, etc. we are about to show the college basketball world this Minnesota Gophers program is going to battle for a title either the Big Ten or the NCAA title. Let the battle begin.
