The Vikings quarterback is not going to put any added pressure on himself for the season finale against the Packers.

It took him 25 starts to figure out he didn't have to do it all? I thought he was smarter than that Sid? I thought this kid had brains but he hasn't shown it and his arm strength? Pitiful

Best QB in the NFL? Hardly. I think he plays for Denver.

I am seeing a lot of comments on Ponder but right now the Vikings win on running the ball, a good field goal kicker, and a bend but don't break defense. Above and beyond anything else right now the Vikings defense needs to show up Sunday or our season is over. I am really starting to like this Viking defense so I say we win Sunday.

I believe that Ponder will end up being a top flight quarterback. Eli Manning started poorly with a 0.0 quarterback rating and the bench in his first games, followed by a 77 QB rating his second year. He also played the Vikings and we had four interceptions in one game. Then he went on to "manage" the team to a Super Bowl. I like the way Ponder bounces back.

Carter is a "certain future NFL corner?" I can't decide if this is funny or sad...probably both.

Sid are you trying to convince us or yourself Ponder is a real NFL QB? He isn't....maybe you can get invited to the wedding reception if you keep heaping on the praise.

With so many returning players, the additional experience for the Gophers should lead to a lot more victories.....They can only play 4 cupcakes, where are you seeing more victories? This group couldn't win an intrasquad game

Sid needs to quit listening to his homer buddy Dave. The U stinks and needs to really consider a move to the MAC

You would think those glorious extra practices would have led to them being able to at least center the ball in Texas??

I loved how the Gophers aggressively took it to Texas Tech for three and a half quarters. Then, you could see the team's mindset start to change and sure enough, they found a way to snatch defeat from the hands of victory. I think Jerry Kill can make the Gophers a winning program, but he and his staff have 50 years of losing tradition to overcome.
