Peterson is indescribable, but why not give it a shot?

At a point when all of us thought it was impossible for a running back to lead a rebuilding, one-dimensional throwback team to the brink of the playoffs, along came Adrian Peterson,

As a Viking fan, the one word to describe Adrian that I enjoy the most is "ours".

What would the Queen's record be without AP?

Viking fans are truley blessed to have AP as one of their own. The stage is set. The opponent could't be more appropriate, unless it was the Bears. It's the final game of the season, in front the 12th man home field. "Adrian, do what you do best, for as long as you can." what happens, happens. You're due.

The word that comes to mind when watching Adrian run is "joyous". He just seems to have such a positive attitude!

AP has quite the PR campaign going on wifh the Startribune writers about being MVP. Fantastic season, but Blair Walsh might actually be the true MVP. Think about how many touchbacks he has had. That means opponents starting no better than the 20 yard line many times. Then there are the field goals. 9 over 50 yards. Considering he is a rookie, and a sixth rpund draft pick, that is staggering. 27 points alone there, which may have been a punt last year, or misses from that range.

How shall we describe Peterson in two or three years, after Ponder wears out his welcome and the Vikings are entrenched as perennial pretenders in the NFC North? PO'd, would describe him. Harvin is already PO'd, so Mr. Spielman had better find a real QB before Peterson cops an attitude.

Here's a better question...what would the packers record be without Rodgers? BTW...my six year old son thought the "Queens" comment was funny. I'd say that's about age appropriate!

Humble, that is my one word description for AP. I have been a passionate vikings fan for 51 years and I do not recall any player who has been a better role model for our youth. He is a man of faith, extremely hard worker, and he truly believes that anything is possible if you put your mind to it. We can all learn from him!

Sorry but Peterson won't get 100 yards today. CMIII and company will hold him in check. This is a totally different defense than you saw 4 weeks ago. Plus your QB will be throwing passes to all of the gold helmets all day long. You might as well sell your tickets to Packer fans and avoid being miserable there in person. Stay home or go ice fishing and cry in your beers.

I think AP is the most "abrupt" runner in my memory. He changes direction "abruptly", he accelerates "abruptly" and he finds his way to the end zone "abruptly." "Abruptly Peterson!"
