There are no guarantees as he works to come back from knee surgery.

What's up with Love's knees and ankles??? He really hasn't been himself -- at least not the self we had been used to -- since he did that stupid interview.

Love works on conditioning.....does this mean he will have the endurance to now hustle back to the defensive end of the floor?

Roy's stats before his surgery were nothing to write home about.Could he help the Wolves in any way??I remain unconvinced until further notice. As a Wolves fan it is sad that we have to accept scraps from the bottom of the barrel.

Now we will have another player trying to play himself into shape, and this one, Roy, has been out of basketball for a year (or is it two?). We have four guards. Whose playing time is he supposed to take? If we're going to have one guard out there who is trying to come back from an injury, it should be Rubio. Send Roy down to the D League, and see how he does there. He's getting paid, and I don't think "experimenting" at the NBA level, unless the Wolves have given up on the playoff hunt, is the right thing to do. If another guard is needed, surely someone in the D League can be signed to a ten-day contract. What is the D League for if the Wolves never bring anyone up, whereas other teams do?

Our guards need help. We've had to run Barea, Shved and Ridnour at times. Plus the return of Roy can give AK some much needed breathers.

Roy's stats are nothing to write home about ? So what ? Stats are only part of the story. His play making was good....he was getting open looks for a lot of guys when we had no Love and no Rubio. He'll be required to do less with both of those guys there. Plus having another guy who can score in bunches isn't a bad thing is it ? I thought that is what people have been complaining about in the 4th quarter.

Roy may come back, but for how long: two, maybe three games? Our team has been decimated by injuries, but Roy's problems were entirely predictable, and should have made the Wolves pass on picking him up. His $5M guaranteed salary this season could have been better spent on someone who would play more than 10 games this year.

Muddy, you're right about the breathers, etc., if he can play, but if he can't, why not bring up a D-Leaguer to play eight minutes per game? Isn't someone in the league capable of playing in the NBA?
