We like the way Williams changes things up with the blitz packages. Against top notch QB's you can't sit back and let them pick you apart as in the past. Now by being agressive you can blitz & rush them and get to them. The pass rush and coverage is better so its more successful. Just so Leslie doesn't lean over and whisper in Williams ear to back off like we have seen in the past.

There is no doubt Williams himself and the younger players he has are getting better. I am really impressed with the play of Harrison Smith and Josh Robinson. even Jefferson seems to be making plays in the defensive backfield. It appears we actually have some true coaches now. But the thing that most impresses me is the way this team plays hard throughout the game. Not easy to accomplish in this age of pampered athletes; a tribute to Leslie Frazier.

I do like what Mr. Williams is doing with the D, but if rushing four isn't making it difficult for Rogers, please send in more blitz packages. Needless to say, excited the Vikes are where they are, was not expected, and to have a real chance on Sunday it's going to take a monster game from the defense.. If in fact the Pack are a team that's going to go deep into the playoffs, it may be a long day. However, if Vikes gameplan has the same effect on Rogers as it did in Lambeau, and the offense doesn't give it away, 10-6 and a 2nd trip to Lambeau are in order. Go Vikes! Either way it's been an amazing year, being one of the youngest NFL teams ensures the future is bright.
