Newspapers nationwide have sold property as industry shrinks
Wasn't there a time when the Strib was exiting BK and creditors sold it to Avista, and basically the value of the newspaper was nearly equal to the value of the downtown land holdings? Shedding real estate may be the final blow to newspapers if they ever need to leverage their equity.
