Phil, how do you know that MarQueis wants to deny Doege that one last accomplishment? Did you ask him if he wanted to deny Doege an accomplishment? If so, why didn't you put his response in quotes? The only thing I could glean from the article is that MarQueis wants to win the game. That is until you inserted words into his mouth.

Gray is another huge talent wasted by an inflexible MN coaching staff that arrived with a 'system' and didn't know how to adapt to use this man's rich skill set.

Whatever the MN coaching staff has done with MarQueis during his career at the UofM, I have to admire this young man -- never complaining, always trying to help, etc. How many of us, coming in as a 4-star recruit and being accustomed to being the "Big Man on Campus," would have been anywhere near as humble and as much of a team player given the same set of circumstances? I can't speak for anybody else -- but I don't think that I personally would have been... MarQueis is a class act, and will be successful in whatever direction he decides to go after graduation. Thank you for your hard work -- and kick some butt Friday night!

Biggest bust of the Brutus de Bruce-stir era.

Gray had to overcome a enept coaching staff and still remain loyal to the team. He deserves a lot of credit and should get his due playing time. If the Gophers defense can stop the TT offense we have a chance, if they bleed like they have in the past its all over.

The only certain thing in the game is that when Gray is under center he will call his own number. Time for him to move on to a minor league football career

Those of us who can see through the lipstick on this pig of a gopher football season, just want this nightmare to end as well.

Best wishes to Marquis. I hope he has the game he deserves tonight. GO GOPHERS!

Go Gophers. I'm hoping a good competitive game will help with the recruiting. But I'm also afraid that this could get ugly.
