A senator who championed Native Americans

Sen. Daniel Inouye recognized that there had been 505 treaties between the United States and Native American people throughout history, and that every one of them had been violated.

As a liberal I believe that the constitution is up for interpretation and can be changed whenever the wind blows in another direction - usually to the left. Therefore, NO treaties are sacred and we should be able to disregard any of them we choose to. Signed: A True Liberal
