Great news. Now the bad guys know where NOT to go and who NOT to rob. These people will all be better off cause they won't ever have to fire their weapons. I hope this starts happening all around the country.

I was just watching Bowling for Columbine and the part where Heston got up right after the school shooting and addressed the NRA convention that was asked to not hold their convention there. He stated this was a free country where feee speech was allowed. Well, this gun permit information is also free speech and free information. So tough luck to those who are upset. Sue someone if it was secret info.

While no fan of guns personally and don't have an issue with the 99% who own and use legally I know which houses won't be targeted be criminals.

And people wonder why newspapers are circling the drain? Too bad the adults are no longer in charge at some of these papers.

Martin64, "Great news. Now the bad guys know where NOT to go and who NOT to rob." It goes the other way too, cause not criminals know which house TOO rob and not have to worry about guns. The guy who wrote that article is pathetic!

Another group has now published the names and addresses of that paper's employees. I hope they see the irony in this.

For anyone worrying about being a theft target; all gun owners should have gun safes .

They better publish names and addresses of all non gun permit holders too. Fair is fair and it's public domain information.

I support this. It's public information. Why the outrage? What's the big secret?

"'Now everyone knows where the LEGAL GUNS are kept, a valuable piece of information for criminals," wrote an irate Facebook commenter who gave his name as Mike Pandolfo. "Why don't you do something helpful, like trying to find out where the ILLEGAL GUNS are kept?' " I think that anybody can get these lists under the freedom of information act.
