Any gun-control discussion that involves reason, logic, and common sense has been rendered so politically poisonous that nobody of any stripe dares to tread there. Therefore new, knee-jerk laws will likely be passed based on raw emotion with the R's on board. Anyone who dissents will be painted by the D's and the press as an accessory to the murder of children.

Cutting criminal undocumented immigrants off the dole would be a good place to start the 2013 season. If the GOP caves in on immigration issues they deserve to be wlking the streets with out a job.

I would like them to be more consistent like Obama. Look at the last five years. So very similar, and absolutely no negative effects!--------------------------------------------------- Monthly US budget deficit reaches $172B in November, up 25 percent from a year ago Article by: CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER , Associated Press Updated: WASHINGTON - The U.S. federal government's budget deficit widened in November compared to October, a sign that the nation is on a path to its fifth straight $1 trillion-plus deficit. The budget gap rose to $172 billion in November, up from $120 billion in October, the Treasury Department said Wednesday. The November deficit was also 25 percent higher than the same month last year. Last month's deficit was pushed higher by a calendar quirk that pulled about $33 billion in benefits payments into November from December. The government finished the 2012 budget year with a deficit of $1.1 trillion. President Barack Obama and Congress are under pressure to curb the deficit as part of a budget deal to prevent tax increases and deep spending cuts from kicking in Jan. 1.

No negotiations, let PBO go over the cliff by not producing cuts. He will get his tax increases, plus we will get spending cuts. Immediate spending cuts, not the promise of them in 10 years. Its a win/win, Obammy gets his tax increases, we get cuts in spending. Oh, that's right, it breaks his promise not to raise taxes on some, at least the ones we see now...

In 2010, the Republicans ran on an "anti-big centralized government" message. They picked up 6 senate seats and 63 house seats, breaking a record held since 1948. Funny, I don't remember reading a single article on how the Dems now needed to capitulate their core beliefs after that "drubbing".
