The nation is grieving and desperate to place blame. These are complex issues to resolve and quickly placing blame may make you feel better but does nothing to make anyone safer.

You're correct Husker, a political cartoon does not make us feel safe, but it may spur our policy makers on to enforce existing laws concerning guns, and create new ones. Laws that will completely remove military assault rifles, and hand guns completely. We need new laws to be the strictest in the world. We want to be leaders? Lead in ending the killing of own. Only a moron doesn't realize the blame lies squarely on the guns and the morons who use them to kill the innocent. Nothing complex about that. Remove the guns , reduce the killing. Simple math. It would be nice if people in the USA understood what "right to bear arms" meant... There is a good start; education.

We don't have a gun violence problem, we simply have a violence problem. Why not point the finger as our violent culture?
