Five games into his comeback, Ricky Rubio says his surgically repaired knee can handle a bump in minutes, and the Wolves trainers appear to be on board.

The wolves would do well to face reality. Rubio has a slight build, no established rep with the refs yet, and the refereeing in the league will get him killed in away games. Look at what Miami was allowed to do to Westbrook by the refs yesterday. Play him more yes, but not on the road until he's all the way back--unless you want another Greg Oden or Sam Bowie on your hands.

The NBA refs are ruining it for me. The Wolves breath on Melo and it's a foul in the last 2minutes, same with Kobe and the other stars. LeBron gets called for his first foul in 254 minutes yesterday, since December 8th I guess he didn't commit one foul. Yeah, right. The Wolves will make the playoffs but the refs will make sure there's no upsets.

The NBA refs have been this way for years and will continue to protect the superstars and RR is not one yet. If you like the NBA and watch this, then relax and enjoy the athleticism. It's not going to change.

Face it. We are not an east or west team. MN will never have the rapport with the refs as those teams do, no matter what your name is. It is apparent. It was downright appalling how they got treated against the Knicks. Carmelo Anthony's nickname should be Crybaby Always.

Totally agree with the ref situation. So obvious that the stars bully their way to the lane with no charges. Nixon, James & Carmelo can do no wrong unless its terribly visible and then they still pout. Pek is deserving of calls and gets none because of his size and lack of star power. I like his attitude of no complaining. Love could learn from him. Luke Ridnour took 2 clear charges against Durant last week and even the commentators thought he was screwed on the calls.

Ref complaints are kind of bogus when you consider Kevin Love is 4th in FTA per game. He was 2nd only to Dwight Howard last year...and they were hacking Howard intentionally. Some players are better at drawing fouls than others. That is just a reality. Aggressive offensive players get more foul calls.
