Pain? All that would happen is that taxes would revert back to Clinton-era levels. Bill Clinton and his Democrat Congress raised taxes to those levels immediately after Clinton took office in 1993. Democrats insisted that the Bush Tax Cuts have a sunset provision so tax rates would revert back to the Clinton-era levels--even on the middle class. So if there is any "pain" to be felt, you can thank the Democratic Party for they were the ones who jacked up spending and blew up the federal budget deficit and they were the ones who raised taxes on the middle class to begin with.

The tax cuts were never meant to be permanent. The left loves to talk about people paying their fair share. This is truly an excellent way for EVERYBODY to have some skin in the game.

Greed has ruined this country. Money in politics makes wealthy politicians, money in foreign endeavors makes a wealthy few, money, money, money. Most politicians get into politics not because of a need to better things for other humans, but because they are narcissistic power-hungry beings. If we are God's greatest creation, he must be so disappointed right now.
