From balmy winter temperatures that cut the ice-fishing season short, to the controversial inaugural wolf hunting season, to new roadside checks for boaters — for outdoors enthusiasts, 2012 was a year to remember.

I would vote for the wierd weather or in other words the drought that hit southern MN. This drought not only hit here in MN, but all of the U.S.A. With future models predicting more drought here in 2013, I bet MN will be hit hard. Did anyone mention "global warming" and the "water wars"? Just wait and see - hate to say it.
