Remember when Obama said it's not a tax?
How could people be so naive. This is clearly the largest tax ever introduced, and it was right there for all to see.
The best part about this is the tax revenue isn't even designated to health care. It can go anywhere team Obama see's fit.
It's simple amazing to me that some people voted once for this unqualified fool, but those who voted to re-elect him after his first term are beyond hope.
In the Affordable Care Act, the new tax on investment income is called an "unearned income Medicare contribution." However, the law does not provide for the money to be deposited in a specific trust fund. It is added to the government's general tax revenues and can be used for education, law enforcement, farm subsidies or other purposes.
"A partial list of taxes and fees to finance Obama health care overhaul law"
Good thing its only a partial list of taxes, if it was the full list it would be over 2000 pages long!
