im sitting down watching this smu game,theres adeffesive end wfor smu that looks and reminds me of jj watt his last name is hunt.this guys has all the tools to be great,this is the type of player the vikings exactly need bad!!hes un blockable!!but the vikings dont have the brains to draft some one like this guy.and he wont go in the first round.if he played opposite of jared allen,no q.b. would be safe!!!!

If not for coach Ariens and Pagano in Indy for obvious reasons coach Frazier would be a strong candidate for coach of the year. He has got this team believing in a way of winning football games that is uncoventional in the current NFL. He is trying to win now with the players he has and that means great D, take care of the football, and a heavy dose of AP. He is also proving all the so called experts wrong by getting the Vikes into a position to make the playoffs. The Vikes may not win Sunday but coach Frazier has everyone believing they will win and that is a major step in the right direction for this team. I have always supported the Frazier choice as coach but I was beginning to think he was not the right coach for a young team and would be better suited for a veteran team. I was wrong because young teams need a lot of patience and who has more of that than coach Frazier. I give Leslie a lot of credit for sticking to his guns and not giving in to coventional football. With more additions the game plans may change, but right now Frazier is trying to win with what he has and has been succussful no matter what happens next week.

I will be up early in the morning here in in Korea to watch the Vikes/Packers. It will be on at 3AM but after waking up this last weekend to watch the demolition of Houston, I am stoked to finally get our revenge. I am hoping and praying for a win as that is what I do but even if the Vikes lose, I will continue to hang my head high because of what this team has done this year. I would have been satisfied with a few more wins than last year while attempting to develop this team for the future but have been more than surprised and greatful for what the team has provided this year. Even if we lose and sit out the rest of the season due to missing the playoffs, I will wear my leather jacket, purple pants, horns, and many different polo/t-shirts with pride waiting for next season and our chance to build on what has become of a very successful Vikings football season!

Vikings fans in Wisconsin are happy with the progress that's been made this season, but nothing is accomplished yet. Don't settle. Beat Green Bay.

Frazier's the man, best coach since Grant when it's all said and done. Give the man an extention and surround him with descent players and he will get it done.

If only we had a semi-decent QB to go along with our all pro running back. The defense has turned it around, but we need MUCH better play from the QB position.

It starts with players who are motivated, secure in themselves and team oriented. Spielman and the staff got them. I am truly impressed with the contributions of this years draft crop....amazing ...and crucial. As to Frazier comparisons to Bud Grant. One hallmark of Grant's teams was tenacity, playing hard till the last second. I see that in Frazier's team too.

Like the Coaching staff, or hate them. Like the GM, or hate him. Back the team, or trash them. Simple facts are these: #1 the Vikes have 9 wins, and are going to have a chance to get into the playoffs. Nobody, I mean nobody, thought in their wildest dreams that this team would be where they are now [If you dissagree your nose will grow] #2 After going 0-6 in the division the team is 3-2, nobody thought this was a posibility. Maybe home wins against the Lions, maybe on a good day against the bears. #3 A roster filled with rookies, one year FA, a kicker that missed half of his kicks in his senior year in college. No big time FA stars being signed. Would be talked about going into the final week of the regular season, as a playoff team. So much for the anti Frazier, and coaching staff blogs. All those Spielman must be fired garbage. This was a 3-13 team last year. By week 8 most of the so called "Viking fans" were blogging about how to loose as much as possible to get a better draft choice. And who the next head coach should be. What players should be dumped, etc...Though I'm guilty of being the typical arm chair Coach, and GM, questioning every move, it would seem, as most of us bloggers, might not be as smart as we thought. My hats off to the GM, who gave us a young team with nothing but upside, that has been good enough to triple our win total without breaking the bank on "Big name" FA. Hats off to the Head coach, and the entire coaching staff for molding this group into a winner, so quickly. I have been a fan for 40 yrs, and I admit that I didn't think that big improvement would happen for at least 2-3 years. Win or loose sunday, playoffs, or not, this is a team that all "REAL" fans can be proud of! Lets get another win sunday. As far as I'm concerned, the glass slipper fits. I really like the way that Ponder was used last Sunday, ala Griffin/Wilson style. This kid has some good legs under him, when defenses are loading the box trying to stop AP and we get one on one coverage on our WR's, if Ponder doesn't see anyone open he should run without hesitation through the gap since the corners are so far out, Ponder executed these designed run plays perfectly last Sunday. It gave us a couple of big gains especially on 3rd and short situations!! CONSISTENCY is what's going to get us further at this point, with AP in our backfield, Ponder doesn't have to win games for us with his arm, he just needs to give us enough of a passing attack to keep the defenses honest. If another great game plan designed to Ponder's strength is implemented this Sunday against GB, we'll come out victorious and on our way to PLAYOFFS!!!!! Let's get it done!!!!!

I can't recall the last time I've seen these young players playing with such HEART. Most of the teams who hold the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the year aren't necessarily the best team out there, but HEART is what makes you a winner. Not too many teams will want to meet up with us if we keep playing like this in the playoffs. If we happen to get into the DANCE this year, anything is possible!!!!
