Qualified students in an ambitious biotechnology track can now transfer to the U's College of Biological Sciences.

Thanks to President Phil Davis for his leadership, MCTC is making a major impact on the lives of college students who may not have the financial support to start their career at the University. Great work MCTC for many students who will benefit from this partnership.

It would be nice to know the cost of the program at MCTC, not just the tuition students pay. I am assuming the program cost is high, so if only 2 or 3 articulate to the U each year how long can it last? Maybe the numbers are larger, but that is not clear. Is it sustainable if each student pays $5000 and the cost is really $50K? That said, it sounds like great work by the faculty member. Wonder why the connections don't exist between the community colleges and the state universities?
