Looking forward to 2013 at Target Field. Look for a great year for Joe and the Twins. Sincere best wishes to Joe and his beautiful bride. Many many years of happiness, runners out at second base, maybe some little Mauers to run the bases on Sundays after the game and doubles down the left field line with men on base.

Joe Mauer has always been a class act. He does a great job proudly representing our Twins and the state of Minnesota.

I think last year was a big year for Joe to just stay healthy, play in as many games as possible, and try to return to his old form. I'm guessing Joe will have a fantastic season in 2013. Hopefully, married life will help Joe as much as it seemingly has for Christian Ponder!!!Win Twins!!!

Dear god...Revival? He is a way over paid premadonna that has saddled an incompetent Twins management team with a devastating contract. Here is hoping he gets everything he deserves in 2013 and the few Twins fans that are left get what they want--a real baseball player...ohh ohh I hurt my pinky nail typing this...put me on the DL for months...

What a bunch of lame stats. How about hits, homers, RBIs ? Willingham is mostly responsible for the run increase, not Joe. Insinuating he is back and earned his $ 25 million is an insult to fans....

Makers terrible contract is the reason Terry Ryan is assembling that horrific staff... Mauers contract will continue to bog down the organization until its off the books. The real story is how bad the Twins will be, and for how long.

Way overpaid, yes, but none of the complainers who like to bash him would have turned down the money, or could hit a little league pitch for that matter. The history of baseball is full of hall of famers who had an off year, including Ruth. Looks like Mauer might be one of them.

Joe is fine as a person and a player. Joe needs help on the other end of the battery, get the guy some good, good, good pitchers. Then Joe might wake up happy not just from a night of wedded bliss but from the Twins winning the AL Central, the AL title and the World Series.

The small market twins cannot afford a $20M/yr player.

"Revival" I didn't realize mauer had ever lost his touch at taking the first pitch down the middle for strike one?
