I love sports and I also love strong positive leadership. I'm not a big 'Husker Fan', but when I scan the sidelines during a game, whether 'amateur' or pro, I figure 'all is well' when I see a Tom Osborne or Bud Grant standing there. Thanks Tom, from the father of a handicapped son who received an autographed poster from you and your team, when my son was recovering from surgery, following your only loss of the year to Miami. When I hear comparisons being made to you in Husker Land I know there are none.

Great article, but not to mention Bob Deavny who turned around a program that had been last in the big 8 for years. After that Tom Osborne took over a going concerned and kept it going.
