It was a zoo out there this weekend, first and last time I'll be doing that!
Wow I am full of holiday cheer and Christmas spirit. Money has nothing to do with it, Im broke and it hasnt stopped me from being full of CHristmas Cheer, just cant spend as much as I would like to
I think it's more important to spend time together with family, friends or helping others than to give gifts that will be forgotten about by next year.
nailed it wingknut! Holidays are a time for family not money
I think store's profits are going to take a hit, went into Macy's for the first time in years and managed to buy good quality coats and sweaters for Walmart prices. Only had to wait for one person ahead of me to check out.
OK, the American money train is out of coal and cash. I just learned that the average middle class person in America has now lost 40 % of their net worth since 2008. Gee, I wonder why the stores are empty now and there are no investers in middle class land anymore. This may be the last kind of Christmans to be seen in years to come. Young people without jobs and people broke. How can big stores make big sales without shoppers running on money? Na, stay home and love your own family. Keep the money at home.
