That same constitution that garuntees Mr. PM the right to avocate for lawlessness, denies government the authority to abridge our right as US citizens to arms, that includes high cap magazines liberals. We should be happy that unlike Britian which has a top down (the party will tell you what your rights are) system, authority in the US eminates from the people, and we've already constitutionalized the retention of the right to arms for self defense so his opinions could never legally be enacted here. Good day English visitor, make use of your free speech right here. When you go back to england you won't have it any longer.

Another attempt to take the focus away from the many, many victims of gun violence. Day after day, week after week, month after month, year after year the slaughter continues. But the NRA cares nothing for the victims or future victims. None of them, no armed school cop, no conceal/carry person has EVER stopped one of these slaughters. It happens too fast and no one knows when and where it will happen. The armed cop at Columbine didn't stop anything. The NRA's attempt to change the focus away from the victims is an insult to those who have died.

He should have Ted Nugent as a guest. That would be very interesting.

It's ironic that the 2nd amendment zealots have no respect for the freedom of speech guaranteed by the 1st amendment.

"must be next to the language that prohibits machine guns." - Actually congress cannot, and does not prohitbit ownership of fully automatic weapons by US Citizens. They have illegally added a exclusionary poll tax to the process so that effectively only wealthy individuals, or corporate interests may maintain them for their private use. This is what corporatism leads to and why these rights may not be legally abridged through legislation. If you don't want a country ruled by the people, keep working along the lines you have been liberals.

Eleanor. I am wondering...WHY cant we lawful U.S. citizens denied the right to carry hand grenades? I believe they are a weapon and an "armament". Just think! If everyone carried a hand grenade, the bad guys would be afraid to set theirs off and we would be so much safer!!!

You pretend to know British law Eleanore yet your claims dispute this. Are you even familiar with the Magna Carta or the English Bill of Rights? The U.S. Bill of Rights was fashioned after the English Bill of Rights. Both guarantee free speech and both bills guarantee the right of citizens to bear arms. The U.S. Bill of Rights specifies that the right to bear arms is for the purpose of maintaining a "regulated militia". Was the Connecticut shooter or his mother a member of the militia? Is it safe or even intelligent to allow "freelancers" to wander the streets with more powerful weapons than paid peacekeepers? What is the paranoia that causes people to arm themselves against the military that they so adamantly demand be constantly expanded. It just doesn't make sense.

That same constitution that guarantees your 2nd amdndment rights also guarantees 1st amendment rights. You don't have to like or agree with what anybody says you only have to acknowledge the right to say it. Many of you may ultimately realize that the most lethal weapon is an idea whose time has come!
