They have won three in a row and want to duplicate what the Packers and Giants did the past two postseasons.

Sid, before the vikings are even able to "duplicate what the Packers and Giants did the past tw postseason" they have to make the playoffs first. Besides, both the Packers and Giants had (and still have)during those two postseasons were the game's top QBs. Ponder is a well below average QB in this league and that is on his best day, to suggest he could even make the playoffs by beating the Packers next Sunday (let alone win a Wild Card round playoff game on the road to start)is a pipe dream to say the least.

For as well as the Vikings played, Houston also made a lot of mistakes that cost them. The Vikings definitely had a game plan and showed up to play. To hold the Texans without a TD was very impressive. First time since 2006 that the Texans have not scored a TD. Very impressive to contain Schaub, Johnson and Foster. Not to mention, it was nice seeing Ponder and the passing game take advantage of the opportunities provided by Houston's defense as a result of the heavy focus on Adrian Peterson. Overall, very good all-around performance by the Vikings. Will need a repeat performance next Sunday against Rodgers and the Pack to earn that final playoff spot.

Sorry Sid I"m not drinking your Ponder kool-aid. Still not sold on him as an NFL Querterback. But maybe Finley and some other stud wide out will help next year.

The best case scenario if the vikings were somehow able to make the playoffs is that they would have to turn around and play the same Packers club the very next week in GB. I would hardly consider that a reward for the sixth and final playoff seed. Teams in the past that have "backed into the playoffs" are rewarded better than this!!!

With this momentum, Aaron Rodgers will be running for his life next week. The Vikings should have won in their first meeting. One other thing, I hope CP remarries before next week. The team needs a repeat of that momentum. Ponder was soild!

Gee,just think if the Vikings had at least 2 more top notch recievers what they could do. They better get them next year. I'm not saying the vikes are going to make it to the playoffs but very few expected them to beat houston,so maybe at home they can beat GB,just sayin.

Adrian could have gotten 100yrds but the team sat him for half of the 4th qtr. Don't blame them, why chance it again when they need the guy next week

JJ Watt was the best defensive lineman on the field for either team Sunday. He was not "limited" and reaked havoc on almost every play.Sacks are overrated compared to hurries and forced passes.

We won despite not having Robison? Seems like he's disappered lately. Anybody else feel the same?
