This tears me apart! Having grown up less then a mile from the Mississippi, I also lived in KY where the Ohio meets the Mississippi, worked at a Grain Terminal. If the Corps cannot return the levels needed to restore river levels needed to run barge traffic, then they should at least bust their butts trying to reclaim these Treasure's from the past!!

Nice story, but photos would have been nice. Do news outlets employ photographers anymore or do they just buy stock photos??

But Al Gore said the water levels would rise and flood us out, he even had the graffs to prove it !!
