Now wonder Burger King is big in France, the rediculously high taxes there are forcing people to eat cheap, as well as chase people with money out of the country.
the metric system
just wanted to try to get things started
I probably have a whopper every other month, but it's ok for fast food fare. I don't see how they can complain about it, considering the stench that still permeates my memories from visiting Paris 20 years ago when I was stationed in Europe.
David3165 - are you making fun of the metric system or what is your point? Making fun of a far superior system is like a grandfather who shoots hoops saying he could beat Kobe Bryant 1 on 1.
greg62 - maybe all those tax Euros collected and spent in France went towards teaching their citizens how to spell and read. 1) Burger King is NOT big in France. This is the FIRST one to open up in 15 years. 2) "No wonder" not "Now wonder". 3) Ridiculous is not spelled "rediculous" as you did. 4) Nobody is "forcing people to eat cheap" in France... One hint: It's best not to just make things up amongst people who know better, it makes the speaker look really bad.
