Chaska's own Brooke Brown starts for UNI... tough homecoming, but we're proud of her!

2,800 in stands. pathetic. Remember when people cared? Borton changed all that. Schedule of weak opponents looks like fb coaches made it.

Anyone have any insight into why Borton didn't sign Becca Dahlman from Braham? She's the grandaughter of John Kundla and that should have given Borton an inside shot. She reminds me of Lindsey Whalen at this point, agressive with a better 3 point shot.

4 down, 1 to go. While UNI isn't UNC, they have played a number of quality opponents in the non-conference (Arizona State, Florida, Green Bay, Iowa, Iowa State, NC State, SDSU) and the Gophers should be credited with giving them the biggest thumping (by far) or the young season (fewest PF, most PA). The Gopher guards outclassed the UNI guards in every phase of the game, but the posts are definitely going have to pick it up from here on out - this was pretty much the last of the cream puffs. Ten of the Gophers next 17 opponents are currently in the RPI top 50 (not including two games against RPI 68 Ohio State) and only three opponents are outside of the RPI top 100. Creighton next Sunday will be a big test as they have lost to only #12 Oklahoma and #17 Kansas and already have wins against Nebraska, SDSU, South Florida and BYU on the road. Gophers have beaten the teams they were supposed to beat but this one will be tough. Come on, Ladies! Let's close out the non-conference 11-3 heading into Michigan State on the 3rd! Go Gophers!
