AP's drive is unmatched. I'm enjoying every minute of watching this guy play. Winning or losing, AP alone is worth the price of admission because he always goes 110%. If he can stay healthy, he'll obliterate Emmitt Smith's record. Those bone-crushing hits on d.b.'s scare me, though. Even if you come out on the good side of the collision, it has to take a toll on your body over time. Go AP!

He needs to be the NFL MVP for his huge season. Purple Jesus is saving the Vikings season. GO AP GO! 2100 yards this year.

Having to average almost 150 yards over the final two games for the record seems to be asking a lot. But, Adrian as we know, gets stronger as the game goes on and the opponents defense wears down. He has backed up what he has predicted all year so why doubt him now. Get after it Adrian. Break the record against the dreaded Packers....

Even as a Packers fan I love AP.

Ok, being quite unrealistic, but how about he just does takes it to Houston and beats his own single game record and sets both records with a week to spare? Just my two cents worth I really wish I could see the last two games this year ut unfortunately, AFN isn't broadcasting this weeks game and I am going to assume that unless there is no other "playoff" interested game being played they won't be on TV next week despite being against GB.

Congrats, AP on a stellar year, and I hope you have a few more of these in you. (So much for the $184 MILLION/8 8years Joe Mauer....what a shame and waste.)

I am reminded of Kirby Pucket during the '91 world series. He played better than his best and it was thrilling to watch him. Regardless if he breaks Dickersen's record, AP will win MVP this year. Hands down.

Good job on the article. It's a great time to be a Vikings fan with the way Peterson is playing. He keeps fans on the edge of their seat with every play.
