The failing GOP just can't accept that Obama and the Democrats swept the election. They're acting just like they did after 2010, digging in their heels, throwing tantrums, and refusing to do the grown-up thing called compromise. These recalcitrants don't give a damn about governing or helping the country recover from the worst recession since the 30s. They simply cannot accept that their shenanigans won't work except to further marginalize their shrinking party. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over, but expecting different results. These flailing GOPers are insane by this definition.

"The failing GOP just can't accept that Obama and the Democrats swept the election."_________ I didn't realize that the democrat party won the House of Representatives. Thanks for clearing this up.

They did not win the majority of the House of Representives but the GOP lost some seats. If they keep this up they will lose even more in 2014.

crystalbay, no we realize we lost and realize will will probably lose in 2014 and most likely Hillary will win in 2016. What you call throwing tantrums is the GOP trying to address spending. Obama and the DEMS dont understand you can take in 2 and spend 6 and keep get the 2 from the top 10%, eventually the spending has to stop and taxes have to go up on everyone, off the cliff we go.

The TP will make the GOP the equivalent of the Whig party...remember that?

" I didn't realize that the democrat party won the House of Representatives. Thanks for clearing this up.".............The GOP hung onto the House although losing seats only because of gerrymandering the voting districts. This will all be taken care of in the 2014 elections.

Here is the problem I see with the GOP; they offer no solutions to accompany sending cut rants. They have this paranoid idea that the programs they want to cut are just going to freeloaders and that those free loaders have other resources to turn to. They have these paranoia of others getting something for free no matter how needed they are. They refuse to accept that the wars and defense spending is the real money drain on this country. They come across as not having a clue, no new ideas, no solutions. If I owned a company the last person I would hire to manage it would be from this party. Eventually a manager has to manage a situation, they would not last long in the business world. No one wants an nay saying obstructionist on their team. I do not see much time left for this party.
