How honorable this man is, to love his wife even tho she eats 3 pieces of chocolate per day.....really? I wonder how this man handles REAL problems?
The wife needs to put a fruit bowl on her desk and snap out of it. As for cell phones - keep the electronics in the car and don't even think about facebook/texting/cellphones at a host's home (life is real, not a jpeg/mpeg).
Seriously, I struggle with my weight and work where we always have munchies candies etc around. I dont whine about it, if I eat it sometimes I feel bad later but thats on my, why stop the joy my coworkers receive because I have poor self control.........
The electronics issue, I hate this issue, I am considering myself to start hosting "anti electronics" partys, still not sure how to word it, but parties where there is no cell phones, ipads etc, (cameras allowed but not cell phone cameras). I have many friends who want to start incorporating this party into a monthly or so event.
In quire about the invite, you got a save the date so definately have a right to ask. It may have been lost in the mail, they wanted you to save the date for some reason?
You should never have said anything and just thrown the candy away every day when no one was looking. I think it's beyond rude for people to treat the workplace as a dumping ground for fattening food they don't want to keep in their own house.
Really Dave? Its rude to share a candy just because one person cant take personal responsibility? Be accountable for yourself and if you shouldnt have it, dont eat it!
