Adrian Peterson is just as protective of his own NFL mark as Eric Dickerson is of the one that Peterson has a chance to break.

Percy Harvin is as good as gone. The best slot WR in the NFL and proly the most valuable to the success of any offense won't be a Vike next year. Thanks to Spielman and Fraziers decision to play Ponder at the detrement to the TEAM. A WR like Percy comes around about once every five years. Blame Spielman and Frazier for his departure. You can't replace him and this is a disaster.

The only thing that would make up for losing Harvin, would be picking up a good seasoned QB to replace Ponder! I'd hate to see Harvin leave if that what's he decides, but a good QB carries a team more than a good WR, that would be the only consolation for losing such a great athlete in Harvin!!!!

Did I miss something? Wasn't this a story about AP?

The best running back ever, Jim Brown, had nothing but compliments for AP, or All Day. The young man is a truly gifted running back, and a joy to watch run. If Eric Dickerson is bitter, so be it. Run, 28, with the speed of a stallion! We are watching history, whether he breaks this record or not, this year.

We are witnessing excellence from AP. I hope everyone appreciates how great of a season he is having. His shoulders are getting very heavy because he has carried this team on his back this season for a chance to make the playoffs. Nobody expected this kind of performance but is sure is fun to watch. He is a class guy and deserves to break the record. This is still an incredible season even it he doesn't break the record. Feed him the ball.

Harvin has been nothing but a pain in the ass since he was drafted....migraines, thinking his above everyone else....he had issues with every coach he has had, from high school to the pros....he has had some good games....but the Vikes have been 3-2 since he played last and were 5-4 while he played....not much difference......

Spielman...get either Matt Flynn or Alex Smith. Then do like Seattle. Make it a fair competition. Best guy wins. get some GOOD free agents recievers and thru the draft get backups at D and O tackle, corner, and linebacker. You will have it nutted if you do. Anything less and you are sitting on the sideline. You have to create competition. see Seattle for someone who has done it right.

I'm not interested in Matt Flynn or Alex Smith. If you're replacing the QB make sue you do it right, not by getting a guy that couldn't hold the job because someone was better
