Patty, Glad you can laugh but remember, we have added over six trillion dollars to our deficit in less than four years. When you are finished giggling, why don't you address an issue that has America on the verge of bankruptcy.

Thank the wars, deregulation and the neocons. The joke's on anyone who thinks that conservatives or the GOP actually want to spend less or are out to help anyone but millionaires.

Great line Patty, but this is something that goes way over the head of your typical conservative. Unfortunately, their only understanding of birth control and women's health issues is the typical aspirin-between-the-knees cheap shot.

Let's take a dive off the cliff. It won't be as bad as you think. Things will be back to normal in a month and adjustments will be made.

I'm glad the world ended today. Maybe now the President and Congress can get something done.

Thankbho - you seem to not see how the trillions came about. It was from lost revenues from the Bush tax cuts (that did nothing to stimulate the economy) and the cost of the 2 conflicts (notice I didn't call them wars becuz they were not declared wars by congress). With that, that is why we are in the sad state of affairs we are in and no other reason. Thankyou for time.

It's actually a pretty funny joke.

Thankbho - you seem to not see how the trillions came about. It was from lost revenues from the Bush tax cuts (that did nothing to stimulate the economy) **************** You seem to know nothing about the effects of the bush tax cuts of 2003, but would rather stick you head in the democrat party sand. Prior to the tax cuts, unemployment was rising (up to 6.3 in June 2003) . When the 2003 tax cuts kicked in, unemployment dropped and continued to do so for about 4 years (4.4 by June 2007) along with increasing the federal revenue - from 793.7 billion in 2003 to 1,163.5 billion in 2007 ------- and the cost of the 2 conflicts (notice I didn't call them wars becuz they were not declared wars by congress). With that, that is why we are in the sad state of affairs we are in and no other reason. ***************** Better rethink your argument,

A Democratic senator joked Thursday ------ This is what Democrats do best, make jokes and run up the deficit. Time for real leadership and elected officials that can make the tough cuts. Guess what, when the 2 %ers have their income taxed and the deficit continues to get worse at record rate, the middle class is who Obama will come after next.

radster63, what is it with the DEMS and the blame game? Sandy, the drought, the snowstorm, George Bush, we know we know how it happened, can we do something fix it besides tax 2% of the people and run up 1.3 trillion a year in deficits? There needs to be massive cuts that never seem to happen, this wont work without them.
