Anything to deflect attention and to keep from making permanent, hard choices.

Really Obama? bring up the deaths of children to help your political cause? have you any shame? These terrible deaths have nothing to do with how people feel about the fiscal cliff; please don't try to mix them, it's insulting and offensive.

The House Republicans represent a minority of voters, due to their gerrymandering of congressional districts. The Republicans better get on board and get this done.

This is unbelievable to me. Why don't they all get off the media stage, both sides quit ripping on each other, go behind closed doors and work this out-compromise! When did compromise and working together leave politics? Both sides are so out of touch with the common people that it is unbelievable. They will let the country go down the drain before they let their egos get hurt. Please, for the people who disagree with me let me know why, I am willing to listen.

@ firfight41 - "It seems that the democrats and the administration does not want a compromise." >>> You read the article, right? The President has moved towards the GOP on MANY of the key issues. Boehner needs to realize that if the "fiscal cliff" happens, The President gets what he originally wanted and the GOP will be holding the bag yet again.
