Rubio, Westbrook set for point guard style clash at Target Center

Ricky Rubio's popularity proves that the wily, pass-first point guard still has a niche, even though big, athletic, shoot-first floor leaders are the show-stoppers in today's ever-evolving NBA.

Please don't compare Westbrook to Rubio. Westbrook can shoot the basketball. Rubio can make lots of turn overs. No Comparison

Johnniecake - Do you realize that you just made a comparison when asking people to please not make a comparison ? One can shoot, one can make lots of turnovers. That's a comparison isn't it ? Are you the only one qualified to make comparisons ? I'd take either player on my team.

"Please don't compare Westbrook to Rubio. Westbrook can shoot the basketball." Get back to me when he can make the shots. He has a career shooting % of .429 and his 3 point percentage is worse than Ricky's. I can appreciate Westbrook's talents but like so many like him I really don't enjoy watching him. Rubio I will watch. I even enjoy watching Rubio play D.

How could you not like watching Westbrook ? He might be the fastest thing in the league, has a KG fire inside him and is the most dangerous scorer at his position. Whats not to like ?
