Guns have no place in schools. The desire to protect our children is an innate part of our nature, but allowing teachers and staff to carry concealed weapons to fire under dire circumstances at a party or parties intent on mass killing carries the potential of additional carnage. Allowing firearms in schools as possible protection also carries the potential of those same firearms falling into juvenile possesion with potentially lethal results. More guns aren't the answer. We need to address the issues of mental health diagnosis, treatment and the increase in violence in our society. With all due respect, keep firearms out of schools. I mean it.
