Let me thank the Strib for publishing this article. As a new business I need all the exposure and assistance possible to grow into a sustainable business in this competitive industry and crazy economy. Many Thanks! There are a few clarifications I'd like to make to help those brave souls interested in trying this new liquor-- --The photo of the bottle unfortunately makes the contents look black (that was due to the original photo's lighting and background, which was cropped out here). In reality, this aquavit is taffel--meaning it is unaged and clear, like vodka and gin, and comes in a clear glass bottle. --In addition to 45th Parallel, the aquavit is available in about 50 MN retail liquor stores and bars, and I'm honored and thankful to each one for showing their faith in the beverage, which is new and challenging to those who have never tasted dill aquavit from Scandinavian travels. The Gamle Ode website lists the ones I'm aware of (it does sadly take awhile for the map to load), but people should feel free to check with their favorite liquor store/bar too. --Cocktail recipes using dill are a fantastic opportunity in mixology/bartending. I myself have had great successes and grand failures. So I worked with the Bittercube master mixologists Nick and Ira to create some. The Gamle Ode website has 7 exceptional recipes developed specifically for GO Dill Aquavit that I encourage people to check out. Again, thanks for the article and if anyone has any questions, they should feel free to contact me via the GO website. Best regards and happy holidays!

This aquavit is fantastic! I often start the evening with a Gamle Ode gimlet with a small splash of Pernod (or similar). I got that from Michael at Eat Street Social. Go buy a bottle, but leave one for me! I just finished another one...
