Tweaked priorities and shuffled staff help Kelly win AP coach of the year

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - After two seasons as Notre Dame coach, Brian Kelly decided he wasn't spending enough time doing the best part of his job: coaching players.

Of course he was voted AP coach of the year. It's Notre Dame, after all. Quite frankly, the person I think deserves it the most and did a REAL coaching job with lesser talent (the definition of a good coach) is Darrell Hazell from Kent State. However, the AP would never consider such an award going to someone from the lowly MAC.
