I'll give it 2 weeks before they're divorced and he's on his way out of MN. Getting married the same week as the most important game of your career is not wise. BTW, Jimmy Johnson is an analyst for Fox not CBS. Everyone knows that.
1. Jimmy Johnson works for Fox 2. Sam Steele is a catch - a babe who loves football and works nearly 100% of the time on the ROAD during the season. Can you say no distractions - sounds perfect for an NFL player.
i really wish he would just go away. he is a terrible qb. tim tebow wants to be traded or released now and although he cant throw the ball he would be an upgrage over ponder
This is the best thing for Ponder and the Vikings. By next fall he will have had several months of valuable experience in dodging the dredded blindside attack.
at least he got married while he was an NFL starting QB, hopefully that will soon change. Give AD the ball, he certainly earned it this year.
Congratulations Chris, may you have a happy marriage.
Samantha, enjoy your marriage to an NFL starting for the next 2 weeks. Then you'll just be married to some unemployed guy.
He has set himself up to be crucified by the media if he doesn't play well this week. I hate to say it because I wanted to like him but this is erratic behavior and it tells me the pressure is getting to him. Time to think about a plan B. Alex Smith anyone?
The talking heads were joking on the way in this morning that there was no reception after the ceremony. LOL

So if we look at Ponder's performance this season, it might be telling a pretty good story. Here's my theory: He starts the season hot because he's happy to have a new girlfriend. He tanks against Arizona week 7 because he found out he's going to be a dad. He plays erratically because he's trying to figure his life out. Baby due June 8th. Just my theory! In the end I wish him, his wife the best!
