My thought, too. We're just Minnesota, so the AP doesn't think we count.

Apparently the AP makes a very clear distinction between "Midwest" and "Upper Midwest?" Otherwise, I'm not really sure what they thought "Winter Storm Caesar" was last week.

Nice to see Iowa getting 12 inches of snow is a major storm, but Minnesota getting 14 inches is not, as reported by a Minnesota paper.

I thought the same thing when I saw the headline. Our 16 inches and blowing and drifting snow wasn't a storm??? Hmmmmm
