The SEIU has plenty of dough to throw around to lawyers dressed up as mimes to lobby for open borders and the continued importation of cheap foreign labor. I am more worried about the SEIU rank-n-file that I am the union bosses. As long as they force people to be in their union the $$dough will keep flowing their way!
I thought the Left were the party of freedom of Choice? I guess not!
If union members put as much effort into actually working as they do protesting, there probably wouldn't be as much animosity towards them.
I'm absolutely certain that there have been union supporters swearing that union dues are not spent on political agendas and elections. If by some stretch of the imagination, this were true, where is all this money coming from that they are throwing towards the 2014 elections, the "Stimulus" package from obama? Me thinks there has been some fibbing going on there, eh, Lucy!
What, are they planning on punching out more journalists?
I am a miner and proud member of the USW. I have voted pro-business most of my life. I have asked my union to stop sending me their childish propaganda via email. Since I work for a huge multi-national corporation, I logically vote for candidates friendly to business and mining.
For a mysterious reason, the USW supports the anti-mining Sierra Club. I have never supported all of the Republican platform. But I support not one thing any longer in the hypocritical Donkey's party. Less work, more welfare. Nope. Abortion? Wrong. Gay rights,yes-marriage-never. I would stop paying dues if we were a right to work state, as I oppose everything they do politically. A non-union mine owned by the same company I work for pays their workers more than we make and are treated as equals to management. I hope Wisconsin governor Walker runs for president. He is awesome!
I don't think I'm qualified to comment on this article because I would never let other people make decisions for me regarding my income and how I support my family and business.
This is for sheep.
