The problem with electronic gambling in general for me is that I never trust the system to not cheat when it "needs" to win. If I was playing Black Jack, the computer could pull a 6 on a top-side 5 with 15 and hit 21 if I had 20, and I'd never know if that was purely luck or "more than just a coincidence".....But it probably can't hurt to have travelers putting money into the airport, especially since the airport is such a regional hub where many travelers from out of state just jump onto a different plane and transfer at MSP.

How soon before we put e-tabs in churches and schools (to pay for Wilf's playground)?

It's a Pulltab game with a 85% payback based on 7500 plays. Slots at the casino are based over 11million plays. Pulltabs look better all the time for inexpensive entertainment.

Remember the cry by politicians and the Governor to thwart any 'expansion of gambling'??? I guess they look the other way when the need fits their cause!!!

We should put slots out there too like Vegas. In for a penny, in for a pound...

This to me is what real social decay looks like. Hope I'm wrong this time.

Governor Dayton, did you REALLY believe that pulltabs would cover the state's share of the stadium costs? Slots at Canterbury would, and a downtown Casino would have not only paid for the stadium, but would have revitalized Minneapolis. At least we're not expanding gambling (other than the new method and new locations available - wait, that sounds like the definition of expansion).

Interesting how the conservatives were so against any expansion of gambling and nixed the addition of slots to Canterbury or the proposed casino downtown, but now they have expanded electronic pulltabs. What's the difference between electronic pulltabs and electronic poker or slot machines - nothing except the lining of the pockets of the politicians by anti-casino lobbyists.
