What the fans have had to endure in 50+ years of this franchise has more than earned them the right to see AP break the record vs. the Packers. And to have that referee-pampered punk Aaron Rodgers deliver him the recording-breaking ball on a velvet pillow from a knee would finally be our karma.

I wish it was 194. He'd have it locked up next week, but 294 will be tough.

Frankly, the Vikes' season is all about AP. Let's not kid ourselves - we are a one-dimnensional team and against a sub-par opponent, we do well. Houston will not be so kind to Ponder and his learning curve. But the AP show is fantastic. We are watching a legend in the making. Who drafted this guy? I want to buy him a beer.

Best power rusher I ever saw was Green Bay's Jim Taylor. Best athletic blend of speed and power I ever saw was Jim Brown. Best agility and burst I ever saw was named Gayle Sayers. Adrian Peterson is a blend of them all, and the best of them all.

He has the potential to be the best running back in NFL history. What an amazing athlete. Just think 11 months ago he had major knee surgery. What a great story!!!
