Gophers men's hockey returns to prominence

The 2010-11 season ended with the Gophers missing the NCAA tournament for the third consecutive season. But that crossroads season became a charmed year, and maybe this season can follow that pattern.

Of course, Haula had nothing to do with it except getting the most points on last year's team.

After getting pounded by BC 6 - 1 on National TV perhaps it would be preferable to not go to the NCAA Finals.
