The Vikings improved their postseason chances after a convincing road victory over the Rams, and Adrian Peterson had another 200-yard day to close in on the NFL’s season rushing record.

Another great game by Adrian Peterson, who totally embodies what it means to be a league MVP. Too bad it's become a quarterback's award, or he'd have it locked up already. Here's hoping!

The playoffs are still a longshot, but to go from 3 wins to possibly a winning record is astounding, especially with the lack of WRs, lackluster play calls, mediocre QB play, etc. AD for MVP!

Steavis' favorite team clinched the NFC North today and that would be the Green Bay Packers!!! I sure hope AP has fun watching the NFL playoffs on his couch again this season because he will not be participating. Maybe if the vikings were able to beat just one of those three rookie QBs that schooled them this season things would have been different. Actually they wouldn't be different, the vikings still have no QB!!! LOL and enjoy your rushing title AP becuse it is the ONLY trophy you will ever see as a member of the empty purple trophy case club.

Heck of a game from AP once again!!! Unfortunately so much for the playing the final game of the season for a divisonal title, it was good to be true! We just couldn't get a break from either the Lions or the Bears today!! I mean is Rodgers the Michael Jordan of the NFL now??? I mean how man bad calls will the refs make with their continuous bad penalties for roughing the passer!!! It happened to us which cost us dearly, and today in Chicago after they had stopped them on 3rd down and long!! It's hard to beat the Packers, especially with the Zebras on their side!!!

add kirk cousins to the list of young QB's that are outplaying Ponder. He threw for 300 and 2 TD's today. That's right folks. Back up QB's are better than our starter. I would rate Ponder as maybe the 40th best QB in the NFL.

AP knows that the single-season rushing title means nothing when you are sitting at home on the couch because your team wasn't able to make the playoffs for the third consecutive year. Maybe if they were able to beat the Buccaneers on that Thursday Night game things would be a little different right now in regards to the vikings playoff hopes being dashed by the Seahawks, Cowboys and or the Redskins. Oh well, it all comes to an end next week in Houston!!!

@prplchump - You mean those same rookies that schooled GB (twice), New England, and Chicago? LOL! I tell the truth, and you had no answer earlier, and you don't now. You could at least be consistent, unless you like living up to the last five letters of your screen name LOL!!!!!!!!! As ESPN says, c'mon, man!

We need more Chris Kluwe distractions.

Hard to get too excited about anything other then Petersen. The guy is a stud who is quietly proving he'll go down as one of the all time greats. Unfortunately without a SB ring it will be held against him.

Ponder was still very disappointing but lets not let that take that away from what AP did. Totally awesome.
