St. Therese in New Hope should also be investigated. My late Mother-in-Law was there for several weeks this past spring and in that time she contracted C-Diff and a blood infection. The staff NEVER cleaned the room she was in. There was feces on the toilet, floors and elsewhere. In addition, they kept her so drugged up that she was unable to complete a sentence. The Dr and Staff were not forthright about the drugs they were administering. My wife actually caught them not being truthful several times. Please investigate this facility.

There is no "whistle blowing" here. It is data taken from reports that anyone can access.

Goldenlivingcenter Lakeridge in Roseville is another facility that needs to be seriously investigated. I had a patient there for a couple of months and had to get approval to remove her early due to the filthy conditions, lack of supervision (sustained several falls a week)and the patient contracted today's superbug, C-diff of which the facility did not inform the Case Manager or guardian for close to 2-months. As a vistor, I contracted this horrific anti-biotic resistent diseasel and was required to have a transplant to survive. This place needs to be shut down.

And what good does it do? Some years ago my sister and I reported Presp.. home for abuse of worse then most stated here. Took a year with the state health dept. and investigations of both state and top governemnt to look into.y then all the incident reports were gone and no one they talked to could remember a thing. Mom was 88 and bright as can be at the time and scard to death when we took her home from there. THEY said she could never go home and we took here and she did well and lived there alone again. Much abuse in her case was physical and neglect. In the end they said things were missing from her chart so they could do nothing about it.

Government subsidized elder care? Everything the government touches fails. Everything.

Many of these places are simply places where older individuals are sent to die. If you listen to budget discussions at the capitol, you will learn that many in the legislature, both Republicans and some Democrats, want to spend as little as possible on these places designed largely to warehouse those who are dying. As a society, we can more about big vehicles, big houses, expensive concerts and clothes than we can about people.

Texas Terrace Care Center and also Robbinsdale Rehab Center are owned and operated by Extendicare Health Services based in Milwaukee, Wi.who have always cared more about money than people. All of their buildings should be investagated for cleanliness,do they have enough nursing staff and for insurance fraud.
