In 1991, when the Strib ran a story about Morris complaining about how he felt alone in TC since moving here, one of my friends, who went to HS with Morris attempted to pull together the old group of friends who hung out with him together and call him. Morris never returned the call. I think he is a self absorbed guy, has been his whole career so why change now.

St. Peter takes the cake. I have never seen a company, organization or team so in denial. They are rebuilding but they call it competing, they fire a gm but say they're moving him into another position and they firs Jack but say they didn't. Wow...what a bunch of liars.

Dave St. Peter should go into politics. He comes across as one of the most insincere propaganda machines this state has seen in decades.

The funny think about the broadcasting stuff is that Provus stinks.

The only thing I know is that I enjoyed the banter between Jack and Dan Gladden. Their comments were thoughtful and insightful, not trite and superfluous.

So now Jack feels the same way I did, when he bolted from the Twins to Toronto, a week after the '91 World Series.

Morris was an asset to the broadcasts, and frankly, I feel would be a better analyst than Dan Gladden. I wish the Twins would find a way to get him back into the broadcast booth -- or maybe even on the TV side.

The Twins front office makes alot of strange decisions, I realize alot of fans did not like the Dome, but since Target Field opened, it seems like they are not even trying to compete or please the fans anymore. I hope that changes soon, but I doubt it.

I know that Morris only pitched for a couple of years, but the World Series really made him a hero in MN. Yes, I wish the Twins office could find him a "home" here. Maybe the Twins need to reach out to him a little more than what he has had in his career as a player and broadcaster.
