Glad to see this effort, and I hope it has an effect in knocking down barriers and getting young women motivated. There have been role models for quite some time: for example, multiple women physicists have been presidents of the American Physical Society, the premier physics society in the country (and perhaps the world). This extends back to at least 1975, and since just 2000 there have been at least three that I can think of. One of them is dean of the Harvard School of Engineering.

Wonderful to read about STEM having an impact on females also. My question, which I hope is answered in the program on TPT, is what was the content or presentation or class that really got them interested at an early age? That is one of the keys.
