When one considers the state of foreign policy under Obama, with the astute support of Hilary Clinton and Susan Rice the false controversy raised by the right wing of the Republican party saddens me. Her detractors made a tempest in a teapot for no imaginable reason. Perhaps they are just against competency.

Bottom line - she was involved in the cover up. I do like her 4 points at the end of her piece. Its too bad the president and Congress doesn't have those same 4 ideals.

"When discussing Benghazi, I relied on fully cleared, unclassified points provided by the intelligence community, which encapsulated their best current assessment. These unclassified points were consistent with the classified assessments I received as a senior policymaker. It would have been irresponsible for me to substitute any personal judgment for our government's and wrong to reveal classified material.

I made clear in each interview that the information I was providing was preliminary and that ongoing investigations would give us definitive answers." exactly what happened yet the corporate media let the right-wing smear machine destroy her with lies!

I am outraged by this article by Susan Rice. She is not going to be SOS because she is not qualified. It is not because of her embarrassing role in the administration's inept handling of the Sept. 11, 2012 Libya incident. It is not because of the mean and evil Republicans. Yet self-serving, pious and banal non-sense is all she has to offer for us today. Bah! Well, we can say one thing about Susan Rice that is certain: She does perfectly represents the phoney intellectualism and insufferable narcissism of the Obama administration.

She would have done a great job for this country. Unfortunately the Republicans really learned nothing from the last four years and continue an obstructionist agenda rather than working for a common goal that benefits the nation.

ronf528 - those pesky facts sure do get in the way of a good liberal "its the republicans obstructing" BS.. what a joke. Republicans want truth. Dems refuse to speak it. Yup, its all the republicans fault for wanting facts. Darn facts

McCain sometimes does honorable things, but sometimes he is completely messed up. This is one of the messed up things. Lindsey Graham, on the other hand, is always messed up.

A fully qualified person disqualified by a cover up by the Obama Administration.
