Move Webb to wide out for some snaps --- he was drafted to play wide out --- he has speed and size --- he could catch a 10 yard slant and take it to the house. One of the best athletes on the team never touches the ball --- wasteful and stupid.

Hey Leslie: Belichick would try out Webb at receiver. But I guess that's why he wins.

I agree with the previous two comments in the sense that the coaching staff has no imagination what so ever. The main reason that the Vikes are 1 dimensional is due to P.C.P. Ponder Can't PassSo!!!, yes use Webb, only at q.b. Isn't the whole idea of football is to put your best players on the field and put them in a possition to win? It's like week 15 coaches. Hello???? Haven't we seen enough of Ponder and is incapacity to play at the N.F.L. level? It's back to the drawing board and the hopes for anothoer q.b. to run the show. Uhggg! Here we go again. :(

I would have to agree with everyone else that I can not conceive why, if this team is so thin at certain skill positions, they wouldn't come up with some kind of package for Joe Webb. You know he has the running ability. I think that management is foolish is they don't play him at wide receiver the last two games if we are eliminated from the playoffs this Sunday. How bad can it be?

Doesn't matter who plays WR when the QB is afraid to throw the ball more than 10 yards.

Would be nic e to see a reciever run a route in which they actually cut instead of settling into soft spot in zone coverage, or not run a fly route against the sideline

It's the combination of no receivers and Ponder's bad play making the pass offense awful, not one or the other.Frazier said pre-season he would implement Webb somehow but hasn't perhaps because of the potential for Ponder being injured. It's really sad,I agree, that Webb is wasted.

As bad as the passing attack has been, Spielman did put the team in position to have some quality receivers but injuries may have capped both their careers.

Pssst... your ignorance is hanging out. Don't you think they would have Webb at receiver if he was at all capable of it? His route running was god-awful and his hands were so-so. Bernard Berrian was a "great athlete" and how well did that work for us? Being a great athlete doesn't make you a great wide receiver.

Cut our losses with Ponder. Get AP a QB and a WR that can catch.
