Ok, I am on board with saying we have 3/5 the rotation on board. Not so fine with calling Correia a #3. I will even be ok with saying we have 4/5 of the rotation with Gibson penciled in. Get Myers or Marcum to fill it out. It won't be a great rotation but will at least be competent.

"It won't be a great rotation but will at least be competent"...Competent?...That's high praise indeed compared to the adjecives used to describe the 2012 rotation.....In fact, I can only hope my tombstone will someday say "HE WAS COMPETENT"

One commenter said that with the end of the Blackburn contract in sight, it seems like the Twins just couldn't wait to do something else stupid. That about sums it up.

RYAN needs help when the twins sign free agents, because he sure signs crappy ones.OK RYAN you have had your thrill signing crappy ones as usual now strain yourself and actually sign a couple of good ones.LETS hope RYAN actually proves he knows what he is doing by signing good pitchers.I have my doubts.

From the article: "The Twins were motivated to sign him because he's 46-43 over the last four seasons, liking the fact that he's averaged double-digit wins in recent years." That is very depressing, and I hope it's not true. If the Twins are using wins as a key measure for evaluating a free agent pitcher, this organization is in bigger trouble than I thought. If this is true, somebody in the Twins' front office needs to be fired immediately and given a free ticket back to 1985.

I stand by what I said yesterday. TR should now sign Anibal Sanchez and then move on to find a couple of good infielders with any remaining money. We need something solid on the left side of the infield or it won't make any difference how good the pitchers are.

"In fact, I can only hope my tombstone will someday say "HE WAS COMPETENT"". Probably better than "HE WAS COMPITENT" I was hoping mine will be the first one to say "I should have spent MORE time at the office". Then they would officially have to stop saying no tombstone ever said that.
