So, the richest people in the richest country ask for money to help rebuild some of the most expensive properties in the richest country? Does this seem more than a bit out of touch with reality?

Eric Clapton was great, as usual. He can do no wrong.

What do republicans have to do with these rich folks asking for hand outs to rebuild some of the most expensive properties in the world's richest country? Do you understand what you read or is it just a severe case of myopic thinking?

Richies and Republicans??? And nobody has a comment on Sir Paul playing the role of Kurt Cobain in a Nirvana reunion? I'd have loved to heard him try to cover Teen Spirit.......Peace.

"So, the richest people in the richest country ask for money to help rebuild some of the most expensive properties in the richest country? Does this seem more than a bit out of touch with reality?"-------They weren't all the richest people with the most expensive properties. Sure, some expensive homes were destroyed. But lots of middle class and working class people got hit in the storm. Last night, they talked about one NJ town where some of the town's firefighters are still living in the firehouse until their homes can be repaired. Lots of people lost everything, not just some vacation property.
