Three and out: Three Vikings-Rams pregame topics of note

  • Article by: DAN WIEDERER , Star Tribune

We’re nearing Christmas and somehow fans in the Twin Cities and St. Louis are still talking more about games than they are about the draft. This is new. And pretty refreshing as the Vikings and Rams prepare to meet Sunday.

A good start and not losing the turnover battle and the Vikings win. I don't think anyone in St. Louis has any remotely realistic playoff hopes, so if the Vikings can take control early, I see the Rams fading. I expect the Vikings to be extremely conservative in their passing game, with clear instructions to Ponder to avoid turnovers at all costs.

Dan,in that opening line, are you seriously comparing the plight of the Vikings playoffs misses to Rams?! The Rams have not even sniffed the playoffs for 8 years. At least, we vike fans have the comfort of knowing they have only missed the dance for just the last two seasons. WOW! All you glass half empty people need wake up! There is NO comparing how these two franchises have played the last 8 years.
